Don’t drag a heavy suitcase onto the snowy mountains or the crowded Steam Train (SL). It will be a nightmare!

Ship it from your Asakusa hotel to “Hotel Gracery Shinjuku”.

Ride the SL: Take “SL Taiju” to “Shimo-Imaichi Station” (35 min).

The Steam Locomotive (SL) does not run every day, especially on weekdays. Check the operation calendar in advance! If the SL is not running, simply take a regular local train to Shimo-Imaichi to continue your journey.

Founded 140 years ago. This is the most “Welcoming & Worry-Free” inn for travelers with tattoos in the Aizu area!

🌊 The “Fushimi Waterfall”: A Real Waterfall flows right in front of the open-air baths. Soaking while listening to the roar of the water is the ultimate Japanese healing experience.

• 🐂 Red Cow (Akabeko) Art: Before you go, paint your own “Akabeko” at the foot of the hill—a lucky guardian to take home.

3. 🚆 Mission Complete: Back to Tokyo

Head back to Aizu-Wakamatsu Station. It’s time to return to the future!

• The Route: Take the Limited Express “Revaty” directly to Asakusa. From Asakusa, take a short subway ride to Shinjuku.

• Why: No traffic jams, comfortable reclining seats, and toilets on board. Much better than a bus!

4. 🦖 Kabukicho & Godzilla Head (The Icon of Shinjuku)
